In early 2007, Charlie Hoyek backed by his passion for fresh food, opened his first Lebanese style bakery in Enmore serving up some of the freshest home made style Lebanese pizzas and wraps in the area. It was a family affair, with Charlie, mum, dad and sister working together to get the business running eventually for Charlie to manage himself. In this time, Manoosh Pizzeria transitioned from a traditional Lebanese style bakery into more of a modern pizzeria, serving up not only Lebanese style pizzas and wraps, but more traditional pizzas and wraps with that Mediterranean touch.

Not long after the Enmore and Newtown community embraced Manoosh and it’s wonderful selection of food, Charlie recognised how diverse customer diet preferences were, specifically customers who preferred gluten free, vegetarian and vegan which prompted Charlie to source the finest vegan cheese, vegan pepperoni, vegan bacon and gluten free pizza bases available. Quality produce and freshness is what Manoosh stands for, as well as providing a selection of dining options for a wide range of people and their diet preferences.

Fast delivery has always been an important aspect of Manoosh Pizzeria’s business model. Over time, Manoosh Pizzeria Enmore extended it’s delivery fleet, with over 10 scooters on the road, managing to efficiently and quickly deliver piping hot pizzas and wraps to clients in a radius of 5 km. This high quality service combined with exceptionally affordable and tasty food resulted in Manoosh being awarded Menulog Best Takeaway Restaurant in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 (Best in NSW/ACT) and 2016. The Manoosh team strive to constantly improve their service to ensure that they are always seriously considered for these awards.

In January 2016, Manoosh Pizzeria opened it’s second store in Marrickville to further expand delivery and keep up with high demand. With the expansion meant a further delivery area including Bardwell Park, Dulwich Hill, Earlwood, Hurlstone Park, Marrickville, Marrickville South, Sydenham, Tempe and Wolli Creek. Our Marrickville store was well received and has helped cement Manoosh as an institution in Sydney’s inner west.
